After completing his studies at the Netherlands School of Business Nyenrode, the world became his home. By turns Frans worked in Africa as a logistic manager in food-aid projects and travelled the globe as a tour guide.
Photography had always been his passion. In 1986 he decided to develop a career as a travel photographer.
In 1989, in Bolivia, he met his partner Marjolijn van Steeden. To date, they have travelled and worked together on all continents.
Every year thousands of the highly aesthetic images are featured in books, magazines, advertisements, brochures, calendars, greeting cards, art prints, etc.
